SPLASH YOUR PASS

Culver Marine, Dave Hamilton Motors and Combined Communications radio group (KBND AM1110, Clear 101.7, The Mountain 99.7 and The Twins 98.3) worked together to create a very large-scale promotion that we are calling "Splash Your Pass". It will be the largest radio promotion of the summer in Central Oregon.

The concept is as an extension of the "Flash Your Pass" promotion that Combined Communications has been doing with Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort throughout the winter for the past few years. The promotion enables Mt. Bachelor patrons to get special discounts and value-added offers at various local retailers by showing their Mt. Bachelor pass.

Splash Your Pass will be the summer equivalent to Flash Your Pass. Its core objective is to be umbrella for all that is "summer fun" in Central Oregon. It will run from June to October. Each day on each station we will air a minimum of 6 promotional announcements encouraging listeners to SPLASH YOUR PASS at area businesses. This will continue throughout the summer and early fall for 5 months.

We will produce 5,000+ Splash Your Pass cards & key fobs (like a Safeway Club Card). They will be available to listeners at all of the participating advertisers locations throughout the region (approx. 40). Listeners simply pick up the cards at any participating location and use them all summer long to get discounts and value added offers. Of course all sponsors and the radio station logos will be on the cards for additional exposure.

But wait there is more! At each participating retailer, there will be an entry box for 3 amazing give-aways. One prize will be given away at each of the 3 Listener Appreciation Concerts at the Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo from July 31st to August 2nd. These prizes include; a weekend houseboat rental from Lake Billy Chinook Houseboats, an evening dinner cruise on Lake Billy Chinook in a pontoon boat, and the use of a Nautique competition wakeboard boat for 8 weeks!
